REAL People’s Fund presents a dynamic opportunity for mission-aligned capital partners to prioritize investments to Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian-American Pacific Islander, immigrant and low-income communities of color.
Partnering with us means centering the needs of communities of color and investing in our right to access capital to create opportunities for advancement. It means recognizing the cycles of harm that our communities have been up against and activating capital as a tool towards transforming systemic inequities. And it means co-creating a dynamic demonstration of how new models for community-governed capital can build the place-based people power infrastructure we need to shift a region from extractive to regenerative economies.
With thanks to our aligned capital partners, REAL People's Fund has raised 95%+ the $10M fund, and is currently only accepting a limited number of additional investments from accredited investors.
At this time, our core ask is for grant capital partners providing multi-year support to invest in our cross-sector partnerships, strengthen our governance model and operations, and engage in grassroots organizing to create better conditions for the businesses we serve.
