REAL People’s Fund is leveling the playing field for entrepreneurs who have been blocked from opportunities to build wealth and harmed by unjust economic systems. Our entrepreneurship program is all about partnering with entrepreneurs and co-creating an equitable and inclusive economy that celebrates our power, prosperity, joy, and liberation.

We envision a restorative and inclusive economy oriented towards building sustainable wealth and power in communities of color to create real social, economic, and political change.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to directly address the systemic failures that prevent entrepreneurs in Black communities, Indigenous communities, and communities of color from accessing the financing and holistic support their businesses need to thrive.
OUR PEOPLE
REAL People’s Fund is powered by community, for community. We are a team of Bay Area organizers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and financial activists who are committed to building capacity among entrepreneurs of color to make a real, meaningful, and measurable economic impact.
COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE
We are democratically governed by local grassroots organizations working across diverse social justice sectors including economic empowerment, climate justice, racial justice, worker rights and advocacy, civic engagement, housing justice, and healing justice.
We are a collective group of organizations deeply invested in keeping decision-making power in the community.
